Virginia Hill Speech Pathology offers a high level of
expertise and experience for adults and children of all ages
(including early intervention from birth onwards).
We provide therapy for private individuals, plan managed,
agency managed and self-managed NDIS participants.



If you have returned from interstate or overseas please complete all mandatory quarantine requirements and call our clinic before resuming face to face therapy in our clinic. You must declare this travel to our clinic prior to resuming therapy.

On Monday the 20th of July we began to see clients face to face again in the clinic. Zoom appointments are  still be available. If you prefer to see a therapist via Zoom please discuss this option with our therapist and reception team.

We are still observing physical distancing measures in the clinic including:

  • Everyone Keeping a 1.5 m distance between all people in the clinic.
  • Waiting in building lobby if waiting room becomes too full to maintain a 1.5m distance. (There is extra furniture in the building lobby now) Alternatively please wait in your car or pop to shops next door if waiting for a child in therapy and our waiting room is too full.
  • Extra cleaning and sanitising in the clinic.
  • Food will still not be prepared in the clinic and wrapped lollies only may be provided to clients.
  • Soft Drink and Bottled Water is OK to distribute to clients.

Virginia Hill Speech Pathology offers a high level of expertise and experience for adults and children of all ages (including EARLY INTERVENTION from birth onwards).

​Dr Virginia Hill first started the private practice in 1979.

​Virginia Hill Speech Pathology offers assessment, reports (including medico-legal reports) and individual and group therapy for speech and language delay; language disorders; autism spectrum disorders; voice disorders and voice control; stuttering; speech disorders and speech difficulties; swallowing and feeding difficulties; learning difficulties and learning disabilities (including dyslexia).

Preschool and school support and parent/carer training are provided by Virginia Hill Speech Pathology.

All clients are seen as soon as possible – usually within 2-3 weeks.

Most clients are seen at our rooms in North Adelaide. Nursing home visits or home visits can be arranged for adult clients who are not mobile.

Sessions are available from :
Monday – Friday 8:45am – 8pm
Saturday 9am – 3pm

We treat privately funded clients and we are a NDIS registered provided for plan managed, agency managed and self-managed NDIS participants.

For clients living in the country or interstate, the option of therapy using Skype is also available.

Dr. Virginia Hill


Virginia has been working in private practice since 1978. After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology from Flinders University she travelled to New York, where she obtained her Masters’ Degree in Speech Pathology from Columbia University in 1984.

She obtained her PhD from LaTrobe University in 1999.

Virginia is a member of Speech Pathology Australia, and is also a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She regularly attends conferences with ASHA in the USA. She also edits journal articles for the Journal of Learning Disabilities. She is an accredited diagnostician with Autism SA.
